Terms and league rules

Short, plain terms. They complement Apple's standard end user licence agreement.

1. Who offers the app

The “Stackoo” app, with the game “Gemelos a la Vista”, is offered by Daniel Quesada Millan (“Stackoo”). By downloading and using it you accept these terms. The owner's details are in the legal notice.

2. Licence

The app is governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies by default to App Store apps. These terms complement it for what that agreement does not cover, such as the league. If there is a conflict, Apple's agreement prevails as far as the licence is concerned.

You may use the app for personal use. You may not copy, decompile or modify it, or use it for commercial purposes.

3. Weekly league rules

The league is a game between players. There are no cash prizes and nothing that can be exchanged for money.

Apple does not sponsor or take part in this league. The league is run by Stackoo.

  • Who plays. Real players only. Joining the league is optional and you can leave whenever you want.
  • Week. It runs from Monday 00:00 to the following Monday 00:00 (UTC). When it closes, points reset to 0 and prizes are awarded.
  • Groups. Up to 30 players from your league, or from neighbouring leagues if there are few players. Leagues: Bronce, Plata, Oro, Platino, Diamante, Maestro and Gran Maestro.
  • Points. You earn them by solving levels: difficulty, stars and not using hints count, and the daily challenge and the Expert give an extra. Replaying easy levels gives little and each day has a cap.
  • Ties. With equal points, whoever reached that score first ranks higher.
  • Promotion and relegation. When the week closes the top players move up (with a minimum number of points) and the bottom ones move down. If you skip a week, you stay where you are. You cannot be relegated from Bronce.
  • Chests. By rank, with fixed contents that you can see before opening: hints, streak freezes, frames and cosmetic trophies. A minimum number of points is needed to receive them. They cannot be bought and do not depend on chance.
  • Fair play. There are caps on points per game and per day, and a board solved in an impossible time earns no points. Do not tamper with the app, fake points or use external tools to play for you. We may void points and remove from the league anyone who does.

Nickname and behaviour rules

  • Zero tolerance for offensive nicknames and for abuse of other players.
  • 3 to 20 letters or digits, no spaces. It is unique: if it is taken, we suggest others. Nicknames go through an automatic word filter.
  • It must not be offensive, impersonate another person, or include personal data, links or advertising.
  • You can change your nickname once every 7 days. A nickname that breaks these rules may be replaced with a random one.
  • Respect other players. The league has no chat.

How to report

In the standings, tap ⋯ on a row (or press and hold it) and choose Denunciar (Report) or Ocultar (Hide). A person reviews reports. You can also write to [email protected].

If we change your nickname or remove you

If we replace your nickname or remove you from the league, you can ask us for the reason and for a review by writing to [email protected]. We reply within 48 working hours.

Changes to the league

We may adjust the rules, reset the league or close it. If that happens, we will let you know in the app where reasonable.

4. Purchases and ads

  • The game is free. “No Ads” is a one-time purchase of €3.99 (price in Spain, VAT included) that removes ads and gives you an extra hint per level. It is non-consumable and you can restore it from Settings.
  • Payment, refunds and payment claims are handled by Apple.
  • Ads are served by Google AdMob under the privacy policy.

5. Account and data

The account is optional. You can delete it whenever you like. How we handle your data is in the privacy policy.

6. Availability and changes to the service

The game works offline. The league, the account and syncing need a connection and may be temporarily unavailable. We may update, change or withdraw features.

7. Liability and governing law

The app is provided as is, with no guarantee that it will work without interruptions or errors. This does not limit the rights that the law gives consumers, or our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you keep the rights given by the law of your country of residence and may go to the courts that apply to you.

8. Contact
